Job Description:

Dara Academy is seeking native English-speaking teachers from the U.K., the U.S.A., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, and South Africa for Prathom (Primary/Elementary) starting in June 2025.

The positions are full-time contracts up to the end of the school year in March 2026 with an option to receive another 12-month contract depending on work performance. The positions pay 35,000 THB per month (inclusive of holidays) plus housing and other benefits.

Only qualified applicants with a 3 / 4-year bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited university will be considered for available positions. Applicants who have a teaching certification, a degree in education, a TESL/TEFL certificate, and/or prior teaching experience will be considered before those who do not.

The total teaching load will consist of approximately 16 - 20 hours per week. Most visa/work permit costs and documents will be arranged and paid for by the school. Health insurance is provided an on-campus housing may be available depending on individual circumstances.

⚠️ Watch out for agencies that charge fees or take a cut of your salary. Good agencies get paid by the schools - not by taking money from you. If you’re not sure how they make money, just ask. If they say they take a percentage, that’s a red flag - avoid them and let us know so we can ban them from the site. Unlike other job boards that allow these kinds of agencies to advertise at your expense, we don’t - we’ve already banned several to stop teachers from being underpaid or exploited.
