Founded in 2009 by Amporn and Chugait Garmolgomut, Ambassador Bilingual School (ABS) in Chiang Mai was created to meet the demand for quality bilingual education beyond kindergarten. The Garmolgomuts, with over 20 years of experience as award-winning educators, also established Little Stars, a bilingual kindergarten that serves as a sister school to ABS. Many students from Little Stars continue their education at ABS, ensuring a seamless transition from early childhood through primary and secondary school.

ABS began with classes from Nursery to Grade 4 and gradually expanded to include Grade 9 by 2012. The school plans to extend its offerings to Grade 12, allowing students to complete their education within the ABS system. The curriculum at ABS is designed to promote proficiency in both Thai and English while fostering ethical values, outgoing personalities, and the skills needed to thrive in an international environment.

Continuing the traditions and ethos established at Little Stars, ABS is committed to providing a holistic education that supports the long-term development of its students. The school is registered with the Ministry of Education of Thailand and holds a Private School License issued by the Director of Educational District 4, Chiang Mai.

Located in Sarapee, Chiang Mai, ABS remains dedicated to its mission of delivering a well-rounded, bilingual education to students from nursery through to the completion of secondary school.
