Job Description Company Description British Columbia International School of Bangkok (BCISB) is a certified BC Offshore School located in Bangkok, Thailand. Graduates of BCISB earn the British Columbia Dogwood Diploma, providing them access to leading universities both internationally and within Thailand. BCISB is also proud to hold IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) candidacy status, and the school will be applying for IB verification later this year. Role Description BCISB is seeking a full-time Elementary School Teacher to join our growing team in Bangkok. The teacher will design and deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons aligned with the BC Curriculum and IB PYP philosophy. Responsibilities include developing lesson plans, assessing student progress, and fostering a supportive, inclusive classroom environment. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with colleagues, communicate regularly with parents, and contribute actively to school events and initiatives. Experience with IB or inquiry-based learning is preferred but not essential. Some experience in supporting students with diverse learning needs (SEN) is required. Qualifications • Strong skills in Curriculum Development and Teaching • Demonstrated experience in Elementary Education • Ability to differentiate instruction and support students with diverse learning needs (SEN) • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (required) • Valid teaching certification or license in the relevant subject area
