Dara Academy NP English Program

The Dara NP Program offers students consistent English language instruction from native English-speaking educators, delivered up to five times per week from Anuban (Kindergarten) through Matayom 6 (Grade 12). The teaching faculty represents a broad range of English-speaking countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa. Each teacher is carefully selected for their academic qualifications—holding at minimum a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university—as well as their professional background, which includes prior teaching experience and/or certification in English as a Second Language. This diversity of cultural and educational experience enriches the learning environment and supports the program’s commitment to high-quality, globally minded instruction.

The NP Program remains steadfast in its commitment to academic excellence by providing students with high-quality instructional materials, including specialized ESL textbooks and the Oxford Reading Tree series. With class sizes intentionally limited to approximately 35 students, the program ensures that each learner receives a more individualized and engaging educational experience. Classrooms are also equipped with the latest technological tools essential for fostering an optimal, future-ready learning environment. The student body reflects rich diversity, and because of the program’s rigorous curriculum and immersive language environment, NP students consistently demonstrate higher levels of English proficiency compared to their non-NP peers.

Looking toward the future, the NP Program seeks to advance its mission by integrating a global perspective with Biblical values—preparing students not only for academic achievement but also for thoughtful, principled engagement with the world. With a vision to cultivate globally conscious individuals who are capable of critical thinking, effective communication, and compassionate action, the program continues to broaden its educational impact. In support of this holistic approach, students explore creative expression and cross-cultural appreciation through celebrating Western holidays such as Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Halloween, while also participating in field trips to museums or English-language movies.
