HighScope Indonesia is an internationally accredited school with 15 schools throughout Indonesia. Our programs range from early childhood to elementary, middle school, and high school. This position is for our head unit in TB Simatupang, South Jakarta. Requirements: -Must possess at least Bachelor's Degree, preferably in English Literature, English Education, or other relevant degree. -Have valid teaching certificate (TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, etc) -Significant working experience related to teaching English as a first language. -Strong capability in teaching academic writing, research paper, fiction writing, etc. for high school students. -Native English Speaker from the UK, US, NZ, AU or IE. -Computer-literate, with sufficient ability in operating Microsoft, Google Workspace, and other teaching media. Job Description : -Responsible for teaching and learning activities in the classroom, including creating lesson plans, implementing the teaching activities, and monitoring the progress of each student. -Teaching students with an active learning system -Creatively engage students in the lessons and keep students curious and attentive -Inform the parents about their children's progress during conferences -Other responsibilities given by the Principal related to the school program Benefit: -Lunch is provided every working day -Professional development -Around 2 weeks off each in Christmas and Eid Al-Fitr -Employee discount (T&Cs apply) Expected to start the latest in early June for initial training, working arrangement is WFO Monday to Friday.
