The KS2 Primary Homeroom Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning across core subjects including English, Maths, Science, and PSHE/Citizenship within the framework of the British Curriculum. The role uses Pearson iPrimary English, White Rose Maths, White Rose Science, and Collins My Life PSHE resources to support academic progress, student wellbeing, and holistic development through embedding life skills and the 4Cs (Communication, Collaboration, Creativity, and Critical Thinking). This role will suit an energetic, adaptable, and student-centred teacher willing to contribute to the growth and development of an expanding international school community while supporting students from varied socio-cultural backgrounds transitioning toward KS3 and future IGCSE pathways. The teacher will maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment while supporting multilingual and ELL learners.

Primary Homeroom Teacher (KS2)

Role Purpose Create a warm, safe, and highly engaging preschool environment that follows the EYFS, nurtures life skills and independence, and builds 21st-century capacities (communication, collaboration, creativity, critical thinking). Key Responsibilities Teaching & Learning •	Plan and deliver play-based, age-appropriate provision aligned to EYFS principles. •	Integrate early phonics, early mathematical thinking, projects, and life skills using KKIS resources: Jolly Phonics and White Rose Maths. •	Build the 4Cs through hands-on inquiry, problem-solving, and collaborative tasks. •	Use indoor/outdoor learning to develop curiosity, teamwork, and connection to nature and community. •	Provide clear daily routines and positive behavior expectations suitable for Nursery. Personal Development, Behaviour & Welfare •	Systematically teach self-care (toileting, handwashing, dressing, tidying), table manners, and safe choices. •	Promote friendship skills, turn-taking, and emotional literacy (naming feelings, simple self-regulation). •	Encourage healthy habits (snacks, water, toothbrushing) and environmental awareness through simple class jobs. Assessment & Home–School Communication •	Observe and document learning across EYFS 7 Areas of child learning and development •	Maintain up-to-date learning journals/portfolios and developmental milestone records. •	Share progress through regular updates, meetings, and reports; set simple next steps with parents. •	Use Google Drive/Google Classroom (or school platforms) to store documentation and share appropriate learning media.
