Samakkhi Witthayakhom School (abbreviated: S.W.K. ), former name Chiang Rai Samakkhi Witthayakhom School, is a regional government agency of Thailand. It is a type of government educational institution that provides basic education and is a provincial school in Chiang Rai. It has the status of a public juristic person according to the law on the administration of the Ministry of Education. Samakkhi Witthayakhom School was founded by Phraya Si Suriyarat Waranuwatt (Suk Disayabut), the governor of Chiang Rai Province in 1908, the 41st year of the reign of King Chulalongkorn, and completed its one-century anniversary in 2008. It is ranked as the 15th state educational institution in Thailand, the 4th in the North , and the 1st in Chiang Rai Province. It currently provides secondary education at the co-educational level and is an extra-large secondary school.
