Key Responsibilities
1. Curriculum Delivery & Planning
Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons in alignment with the EP curriculum (typically based on the Common European Framework of Reference – CEFR or a similar standards-based model).
Teach core English skills including: reading comprehension, academic writing, grammar, listening, speaking, and literature.
Develop and utilize a variety of instructional materials, technology, and authentic resources (e.g., novels, articles, multimedia) to cater to diverse learning styles.
Prepare students for internal exams, EP midterm/final assessments, and external standardized tests (e.g., O-NET, GAT, IELTS preparation if applicable).
2. Classroom Management
Create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
Establish and enforce clear rules for behavior, safety, and academic integrity.
Employ effective classroom management techniques to maintain focus and respect.
3. Assessment & Evaluation
Design, administer, and grade formative and summative assessments (quizzes, projects, essays, exams).
Provide timely, constructive, and personalized feedback to students to support their academic growth.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, grades, and progress in the school’s grading system.
Communicate student progress to parents during parent-teacher meetings and through school reports.
4. Extracurricular & School Involvement
Actively participate in school events, such as English Camp, academic competitions, Sports Day, and Open House.
Organize or assist with extracurricular activities that promote English use (e.g., English Club, debate team, spelling bees, or school newspapers).
Collaborate with Thai and international colleagues on the EP team and participate in staff meetings and professional development sessions.
5. Professionalism & Cultural Sensitivity
Demonstrate respect for Thai culture, school traditions, and local customs.
Maintain professional conduct, punctuality, and adherence to school policies and the Thai Ministry of Education regulations.
Build positive relationships with students, parents, administrators, and support staff.
Qualifications
Essential:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, TESOL, Linguistics, or a related field.
Certification: TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or equivalent teaching certification (120+ hours preferred).
Citizenship: Native English speaker (from UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, or South Africa) or a non-native with exceptional fluency and a recognized English proficiency score (e.g., TOEIC 800+, IELTS 7.5+), as required by Thai labor law and the Ministry of Education.
Experience: At least 1-2 years of teaching experience at the secondary level (preferred). New graduates with strong practicum experience may be considered.

Strong understanding of student-centered learning and communicative language teaching (CLT).
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with technology for education (Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams, interactive whiteboards, etc.).

Working Conditions
Hours: Monday – Friday, typically 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (teaching load approx. 18–22 periods per week, 50 minutes per period).
