JOB DETAIL AT ORTUS
Location: : Nam Dinh city, Nam Dinh province, Vietnam
Company: : Ortus Language Centre
Type: : Full Time. 5 working days per week from 7h AM to 4h30 PM, about 4 teaching hours per day. Weekend off Saturday and Sunday. Public holidays as the government regulations.

Experience: : Entry level. No experience will be trained.

Age : From 21 to 42
Students: : From 6-10 years old, well-behaved, devoted to learn English
Start date : ASAP
Ortus English Center has built good relationship with 25 different public schools in Nam Dinh for the past 8 years of service. Our team includes 4 native teachers and 3 Filipino teachers who work well with each other and is led by a head teacher working as a tutor to all teachers. We are looking for skilled and dedicated teachers who are enthusiastic about creating engaging and interactive lessons at primary and secondary schools in Vietnam. Our current teachers have worked for Ortus for more than 2 years with experience and love for job. The city is green with much fresh air. Gym, Win mart, internet, restaurants are much available. Teachers can save a lot of money because we provide free accommodation, transport, and very cheap living costs in our city. It takes about 1h20 to go to Hanoi, the capital city.
Job description:
• Teach English classes at different public schools in Nam Dinh, Vietnam including primary schools.
• Create engaging and effective lesson plans based on the curriculum plans provided
• Join extracurricular activities held by Ortus
• Actively participate in the production and sharing of learning resources with teaching colleagues working at Ortus
• Monitor students’ progress and provide regular reports regarding their participation and progress.
Job requirement: The successful applicant will:
• Hold a university or college degree
• Have an accredited TESOL, CELTA, or TEFL certificate;
• Hold a valid passport from an English-speaking country such as UK, US, Australia, Ireland, South Africa.
• Possess qualities of flexibility, open-mindedness, cultural sensitivity and patience;
• Be physically fit as to work 7 hours per day and remain active with children;
• Have experience working in academic environment;
• Have a clear background check;
Benefits of teaching
1/ Competitive monthly salary. Net salary from 20-25$/hour. 80 teaching hours per month guarantee. Employee will receive the possibility of overtime paid at an hourly rate
