In our school, fourth and fifth graders are taught by two teachers, each specializing in different subjects. One teacher is responsible for the fourth grade homeroom and teaches Language Arts to both grades for approximately two hours daily. The other teacher handles Math, Science, and Social Studies for both grades, dedicating around two hours per day to each subject. Our curriculum is predominantly US-based, with the addition of a daily one-hour Mandarin language class. The Language Arts program includes various resources: ABeka Book Publishers Worktext for Grammar, Bob Jones Press Worktext for Spelling, and a combination of Scott Foresman Celebrate Reading 1997, MCP Phonics Worktext, and Wordly Wise Worktext for Reading in grades 4 and 5.

Due to the high number of applications the schools receive they may not be able to respond to every application. If you don't hear back from them within a week or so, it's best to move on to the next job.
When applying for jobs, you should NEVER have to pay to apply. You should also NEVER have to pay to buy anything which they then pay you back for later. NEVER PAY FOR ANYTHING! Also always verify you're actually talking to the company in the job post and not an imposter. Scams in TEFL are rampant, be careful!
