The BFITS Thailand Recruitment Team is actively conducting interviews for Term 1!
The position will begin immediately, (inclusive of paid training). A successful candidate will receive an employment contract that will begin immediately after an offer is given (on a rolling basis throughout Term 1 2022).
Please refer to the following positions and their descriptions below:
English Program (Subject/Content Teaching Positions)
➡ Mathematics Teacher (3+ Positions)
• Inner Bangkok (1+ Position): Grade 4 and Grade 7 (General Mathematics and Pre-Algebra)
• Outer Bangkok (2+ Positions): Grade 9 and Grade 10 (Geometry, Algebra, Statistics, and Trigonometry)
• Outer Bangkok (1+ Position): Grade 11 and Grade 12 (Precalculus and Calculus/Advanced Statistics)
➡ Science Teacher (1+ Position)
• Outer Bangkok (1+ Position): Grade 7 Science (Integrated Sciences - i.e., Life, Physical, and Earth Sciences)
➡ EP Program Teacher Benefits:
• 40,300 THB salary per month + 500 THB per hour if overtime
• 12 month employment contract (i.e. NO unpaid months or reduced pay during school holidays/reduced teaching hours)
• Monthly supplemental attendance bonus of 750 THB per month
• End of contract bonus up to 34,000 THB
• Guaranteed yearly 3% cost of living pay increase
• AETNA medical + dental insurance (paid by BFITS)
• 2 weeks paid vacation (an additional week of paid vacation for each year of employment up to 4 weeks)
• All Thai government holidays off with pay (13-15 days annually) *in addition to vacation time
• 4-7 personal/sick days (unused personal/sick days reimbursed at 500 THB per day at the end of the employment contract)
• Foreign Teacher visa assistance (i.e. application for/extension of Non-B working visa - teachers must be able to provide ALL original documents such as: Bachelor's degree/Bachelor’s degree transcripts/TEFL certificate/Police clearance)
• Work permit and teaching waiver paid by BFITS
• Assistance in location housing
• FREE Airport pickup
• Yearly professional development training sessions are provided for free during school breaks. **Topics will vary depending on need/interest**

➡ WORKING CONDITIONS:
• Teaching hours range from 15-20 hours a week.
• Class sizes range from 25-35 students per class with air-conditioned classrooms, LCD projectors, Apple TV.
• School hours are approximately 07.30-16.30 Monday to Friday.
• Curriculum and lesson breakdowns are already developed and provided to the teacher.
• Teaching materials are supplied by BFITS in paper or digital format: Textbooks, Google Slides, Google Classroom/Instructional Technology applications, etc; however, teachers MUST develop their own engaging Slides/Lessons using the material given
➡ RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Teach subject content to assigned classes as per the schedule provided.
• Adapt and deliver Google Slides lessons (curriculum resources are provided by BFITS)
• Modify and adapt lessons to meet the needs of your class.
• Basic IT skills are a prerequisite for this position.
• Maintain weekly office hours.
• Maintain student grading/assessment using Google Workspace
• Attend office meetings or professional development held during office hours (if/when needed)
➡ MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Native English Speakers (i.e. citizens of the United States, United Kingdom, Ireland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa) overseas or in Thailand may apply!
• Basic IT/Office Skills
• No Criminal History in your home country or abroad
