Harmony Montessori Education Institute, established in 2012 by a group of AMS and AMI certified parents, is currently seeking an English homeroom teacher for the preschool classroom (ages 3-6).

We adhere to the Montessori Education curriculum and philosophy, emphasizing that children are the focal point of the learning process. Our approach nurtures diverse abilities, fostering holistic development in children. Key qualities we strive for are independence, resourcefulness, and altruism.

We value a candidate who is a native English speaker with a minimum of 2 years teaching experience with young children aged 3-6. While Montessori certification is a plus, it is not mandatory. The ideal candidate would commit to a two-year contract or longer and collaborate with two Chinese teachers in the classroom.

The working hours are from 8:00 to 17:00 and include benefits such as labor and health insurance. Professional development training will be provided as needed. If you embody qualities of passion, patience, love, and creativity, please submit your resume. Additionally, we request a brief (1-2 minute) voice introduction of yourself.

📌 You need to be from one of the following counties to teach English in Taiwan: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa. However, some schools may still hire teachers who already have a long-term visa. This requirement only applies to teaching English - schools can still hire you for subjects other than English.

⏳ Due to the high number of applications the schools receive they may not be able to respond to every application. If you don't hear back from them within a week or so, it's best to move on to the next job.

⚠️ When applying for jobs, you should NEVER have to pay to apply. You should also NEVER have to pay to buy anything which they then pay you back for later. NEVER PAY FOR ANYTHING! Also always verify you're actually talking to the company in the job post and not an imposter. Scams in TEFL are rampant, be careful!
