ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently seeking highly qualified and experienced University Lecturers to teach students in our prestigious partner institution programs in China. As a native English speaker, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality education and fostering a vibrant learning environment for our students. Working with Chinese co-teachers in our partner universities, you will deliver courses using a hybrid teaching model comprising synchronous online lectures and face-to-face teaching in China. These unique opportunities offer the option to be based in Australia, with periodic travel to China for 4-8 weeks every 6 months. Appropriately qualified and experienced applicants may be considered for full-time positions.
ABOUT YOU
Key Selection Criteria (Essential):
A PhD degree (or near completion) in a relevant discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, and Science-related disciplines)
Native-level English proficiency with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience in university-level teaching
Strong passion for teaching and inspiring students to pursue knowledge
Demonstrated ability to create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment
Knowledge of educational technology tools and their integration into teaching practices
Flexibility, adaptability, and willingness to embrace cultural diversity
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a positive academic community
Willingness and ability to periodically travel to China for up to eight weeks
ABOUT THE JOB
Delivering engaging and interactive lectures in English to university-level students
Preparing course materials, lesson plans, and assessments aligned with the curriculum
Facilitating class discussions, encouraging critical thinking, and promoting student participation
Providing individualized support and guidance to students, including mentoring and advising
Collaborating with colleagues to develop and enhance the curriculum
Participating in faculty meetings, professional development activities, and university events
