Glory Singapore International School in Bangkok is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Chinese Teacher for Primary to Lower Secondary levels. The salary for this full-time position ranges from 35,000 to 38,000 Baht per month.
Responsibilities for this role include designing and implementing a comprehensive teaching plan with 30 forty-minute periods per week. Teachers will instruct students in the alphabet, numeracy, and personal, social, and emotional skills. Teachers will organize learning materials, maintain communication with parents, assess student progress regularly, and encourage cooperation and sharing among students. Compliance with teaching standards and safety regulations is expected, along with ensuring the safeguarding of children.
Candidates should have proven teaching experience, knowledge of child development and current educational practices, and possess creative teaching abilities. Strong communication, organizational skills, patience, and flexibility are essential. A teaching license and a Bachelor's degree in Education are required. Applicants must be currently residing in Thailand and will undergo a paper test, interview, and class demonstration. A valid criminal background check and two references are also required.
Compensation includes salary, visa and work permit fees, accident and health insurance, lunch and snacks on campus, and paid holidays.
