Tawan Sprouts Bangkok is seeking an Early Childhood Teacher for a full-time position in Bangkok, Thailand. Tawan Sprouts is part of Borderless360, a social-enterprise that combines education, care, and creativity to foster cultural connections. We provide Waldorf-inspired programs for young children and therapeutic art for adults, supporting refugee education initiatives in Thailand and beyond.
Position Overview:
We are looking for an Early Childhood Teacher to nurture a supportive environment for children aged 1.5 to 6 years. You will collaborate with colleagues and families to promote children's social, emotional, and creative development. The position offers opportunities for professional growth within the Waldorf educational approach through mentorship and training.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and lead activities that encourage free play, imaginative learning, and socio-emotional skills.
- Provide empathetic and consistent care for individual children.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to foster a supportive community.
- Organize seasonal festivals, teacher study sessions, and community events.
- Contribute ideas and energy to help shape our growing center.
Requirements:
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Thai or another language is advantageous.
- Early Childhood training or experience is required; Waldorf experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment with diverse families and children, including neurodivergent individuals.
- Enthusiasm, creativity, and flexibility to grow with a young organization.
- Integrity and team spirit.
- Genuine interest in healing-centered education and social impact.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position, 5 days a week between Monday and Saturday (approx. 8:00 am – 4:00 pm), with occasional community events or parent meetings.
- Small mixed-age class sizes.
- One-year renewable contract with a three-month probation period.
- Start date: May 2026.
