Job Description:

Chiang Rai International School (CRIS), located in Chiang Rai, is seeking a qualified Elementary Computer Science Teacher for a full-time position with a salary starting at ฿50,000 per month. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Education, or a related field, along with a teaching license or certification from an accredited institution. A minimum of two years of teaching experience, preferably in elementary-level computer science, is required.

Applicants should demonstrate proficiency in coding languages and platforms suitable for young learners, such as Scratch, Python, and HTML, and be familiar with educational technology tools like Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite. Candidates should be student-centered, flexible, creative in their instruction, attentive to students' social-emotional learning needs, and committed to collaborative planning. Fluency in English with excellent writing skills is essential.

Key responsibilities include planning and presenting Computer Science lessons, creating a positive and engaging learning environment, designing instructional units, teaching foundational coding and digital literacy, assessing student performance, and contributing to curriculum development. Teachers are expected to meet deadlines, use assessment data to guide instruction, differentiate instruction for diverse learners, collaborate with colleagues, and maintain professional communication with parents, students, and staff.
