Varee Chiangmai School is currently seeking passionate and committed teachers to join our team for the 2026 academic year, which commences in May. We are conducting interviews for candidates willing to accept a one-year, full-time teaching position in our primary department. All teaching applicants are required to demonstrate their ability to engage students through a successful demo lesson, regardless of their qualifications.
Located conveniently near the city center, Varee Chiangmai School offers modern facilities and well-equipped classrooms. Our school is distinguished in Northern Thailand for teaching both Thai and International Curricula. We are looking for educators who can effectively plan lessons within an integrated curriculum, with preference given to those experienced in project-based and active learning.
We emphasize the professional growth of our educators and support them through our Teacher Support System (TSS). Teachers at our school can expect opportunities for both professional and financial advancement. Those pursuing additional credentials will receive support from the school and a salary increase upon completion of their studies.
We offer a competitive salary based on qualifications and experience, with a range of up to 60,000 THB per month for qualified teachers with over three years of experience. Benefits include Allianz Medical Insurance (plan 1), work permit and visa renewal fees covered by the school, nine weeks of paid holiday (excluding public holidays), and a variety of free lunches available in our food court.
All candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree and a Teaching Qualification from an accredited institution. We are accepting applications solely from native English speakers holding passports from the UK, Ireland, US, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand. TEFL certificates are appreciated but not considered a professional teaching qualification. To apply, please send your CV and a cover letter to recruitment@varee.ac.th.

Please mention that you found the job on Teast for the school's reference.
📌 Please review the requirements to teach English in Thailand before you start applying for teaching positions. If the job post specifies "NES" or "Native English Speaker", it typically means applicants are required to be from one of the following countries: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa. However, in some cases, this may indicate a preference rather than a strict requirement.
⏳ Due to the high number of applications the schools receive they may not be able to respond to every application. If you don't hear back from them within a week or so, it's best to move on to the next job.
⚠️ Watch out for agencies that charge fees or take a cut of your salary. Good agencies get paid by the schools - not by taking money from you. If you’re not sure how they make money, just ask. If they say they take a percentage, that’s a red flag - avoid them and let us know so we can ban them from the site. Unlike other job boards that allow these kinds of agencies to advertise at your expense, we don’t - we’ve already banned several to stop teachers from being underpaid or exploited.
⚠️ When applying for jobs, you should NEVER have to pay to apply. You should also NEVER have to pay to buy anything which they then pay you back for later. NEVER PAY FOR ANYTHING! Also always verify you're actually talking to the company in the job post and not an imposter. Scams in TEFL are rampant, be careful!
