Position Overview
Xinjiang University invites applications for full-time English foreign teacher positions, focusing on university-level English instruction.
Requirements
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or higher
Language Proficiency: Native or near-native English fluency (standard pronunciation and communication skills).
Experience: Minimum 2 years of university-level teaching experience in English.
Certification: Valid TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certificate.
Work Authorization: Ability to obtain a Chinese work visa (Z-visa) with university support.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: Monthly salary: 8,000 RMB
Teaching Load: 14-18 class hours per week (teaching schedule subject to departmental arrangement).
Housing: Free on-campus accommodation (fully furnished, utilities included)
Travel Allowance: flight allowance
Vacation Benefits: Paid winter vacation (according to university schedule)
Work Location & Term
Location: Urumqi, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region (campus near public transportation).
Contract Period: 1 academic year (negotiable for renewal), starting September 2025.
