About GEOS: Founded in 2002, GEOS Language Centre Thailand is a reputable language school situated on Sukhumvit Soi 23, conveniently located near Asoke BTS and Sukhumvit MRT. Our school caters to a diverse range of students including children, teenagers, adults, working professionals, and long-term visa students, offering courses in English, Thai, and Japanese. Position Overview: The full-time English teacher will be responsible for teaching both private and group lessons across various levels and age groups, including children and adults. Classes will cover general English, conversation and communication skills, structured EFL programs, and Callan Method lessons.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct private and group English lessons
- Prepare lessons tailored to students' needs and levels
- Create a positive and engaging classroom environment
- Assist students in building confidence in English usage
- Provide constructive feedback on student progress
- Collaborate professionally with the GEOS academic and administrative teams
- Participate in training for structured English programs, including the Callan Method
Hours and Salary: This role includes up to 120 teaching hours per month with a guaranteed monthly salary of 50,000 THB (before tax and statutory deductions).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in education, English, linguistics, or a related field
- TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or equivalent certification
- Native English speaker with a passport from Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, the UK, or the USA
- Preferred two years of teaching experience
- Experience teaching both children and adults
- Professional, reliable, and student-focused attitude
- Good classroom management skills
- Willingness to learn and follow structured teaching methods
- Callan Method experience or certification is advantageous, but not required
