Kasetsart University Laboratory School Multilingual Program in Chon Buri is seeking a full-time Native English-Speaking (NES) English Teacher to join our team. As part of Kasetsart University, one of Thailand's prestigious universities, our school offers a multilingual program for students from Grades 1 to 12. We need an enthusiastic and adaptable educator to teach primarily Grades 5, 7, and 8, with additional classes for Grades 7 and 10, focusing on skill subjects for four periods per week.
The position is available immediately. Candidates must be native English speakers with passports from the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, or South Africa. Exceptionally proficient non-native speakers from Europe may be considered. Applicants should be under 60 years old and hold a bachelor’s degree, preferably related to education. Legalization of the degree by the Thai Embassy and verification by the Thai consulate in Bangkok is required. A criminal background check, tax documents (for those previously employed in Thailand), and a TOEIC score are necessary for South African and non-native applicants. Relocation to Chon Buri is required, and candidates should be able to collaborate with Thai and foreign teachers and participate in school activities. Please note that classrooms do not have air-conditioning, though the teacher's office is air-conditioned. Prior teaching experience in a Thai school is advantageous.
The starting salary is 42,000 THB per month, with an annual raise from the second year. Benefits include one month of paid holiday starting from the second-year contract, annual medical coverage, group insurance, and visa and work permit assistance. Professional development opportunities are also available.

📌 Please review the requirements to teach English in Thailand before you start applying for teaching positions. If the job post specifies "NES" or "Native English Speaker", it typically means applicants are required to be from one of the following countries: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa. However, in some cases, this may indicate a preference rather than a strict requirement.
⏳ Due to the high number of applications the schools receive they may not be able to respond to every application. If you don't hear back from them within a week or so, it's best to move on to the next job.
⚠️ Watch out for agencies that charge fees or take a cut of your salary. Good agencies get paid by the schools - not by taking money from you. If you’re not sure how they make money, just ask. If they say they take a percentage, that’s a red flag - avoid them and let us know so we can ban them from the site. Unlike other job boards that allow these kinds of agencies to advertise at your expense, we don’t - we’ve already banned several to stop teachers from being underpaid or exploited.
⚠️ When applying for jobs, you should NEVER have to pay to apply. You should also NEVER have to pay to buy anything which they then pay you back for later. NEVER PAY FOR ANYTHING! Also always verify you're actually talking to the company in the job post and not an imposter. Scams in TEFL are rampant, be careful!
