Job Description:

British Columbia International School Bangkok (BCISB) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Grade 2 Homeroom Teacher for the 2026–2027 academic year. As an IB World School offering the Primary Years Programme (PYP), BCISB is committed to fostering an engaging, inquiry-driven learning environment that encourages students to become curious, confident, and internationally-minded learners.

Position: Grade 2 IB PYP Homeroom Teacher
Location: Bangkok, Thailand
Start Date: August 2026
Salary: At least ฿75,000 per month

Responsibilities:
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Plan and deliver engaging learning experiences within the IB PYP framework.
- Promote student agency, inquiry, and the development of the whole child.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field with a recognized teaching qualification/license.
- Experience teaching at the Elementary/Primary level.
- Strong understanding of child-centered and inquiry-based teaching and learning.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students.
- Effective use of assessments to inform teaching and differentiate learning.
- Collaborative approach to planning and reflecting on learning with colleagues.
- Professional and positive communication with parents and the wider school community.
- Willingness to contribute to school life beyond the classroom.
- Adaptability, reflectiveness, and commitment to professional growth.

Previous experience with the IB PYP is highly desirable, though educators with strong elementary teaching experience and a willingness to learn and embrace the PYP are encouraged to apply.
