Theodore International School (TIS) in Chumphon is looking for a dedicated teacher to instruct Grade 6-7 students in Math, Social Studies, and Technology. The position offers a salary of at least 39,000 baht per month, which includes housing and food stipends. Additional benefits include low-cost housing on campus for 3,000 baht and free lunch on working days. Health insurance is available for teachers who sign multi-year contracts. There are opportunities for extra income through tutoring at 500 baht per hour, which can amount to an additional 3,000 to 5,000 baht monthly, as well as summer school course tutoring in June.
The school provides a generous holiday schedule with over 30 paid holidays from August to June, including long breaks over Christmas/New Year and Thai Songkran in April. The position starts in early November 2026 and ends on June 4, 2027.
Applicants must hold at least a Bachelor's Degree, provide a transcript, and have a background check. Teaching hours are capped at 20 hours per week, with an additional 5 hours for other duties. The job is full-time and requires proficiency in English. Non-native speakers with excellent language skills are welcome to apply. While not essential, previous teaching experience, a TEFL or similar diploma, and familiarity with educational technology platforms like Google Classroom are desirable.
