Shanghai Concord Bilingual School is seeking a dedicated Head of Performing Arts to oversee music, drama, and performing arts education for students in grades 6–12. This full-time position is based in Shanghai, China, and commences in August 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the performing arts department, including managing music and drama programs.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum for grades 6 to 12.
- Provide mentorship and support to performing arts teaching staff.
- Contribute to the school's extracurricular activities.
- Organize school performances, concerts, and theatrical productions.
- Encourage and nurture student creativity and artistic expression.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an educator in performing arts with a leadership background.
- Proficiency in music, drama, or both disciplines.
- Preferably experienced in bilingual or international school environments.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
- A strong passion for nurturing student talent and creativity.
