Job Description:

Lighthouse Education in Phuket is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Primary School to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our primary school, ensuring its success and development, and fostering an inspiring learning environment. The position starts on August 1st.

Role Overview:
The Head of Primary will be a crucial part of the senior leadership team, overseeing the daily operations of the primary school. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to nurturing both academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Primary School.
- Lead and manage teaching staff, including performance evaluations, mentoring, and professional development.
- Ensure delivery of a high-quality curriculum aligned with international standards and supports differentiated learning.
- Promote a positive school culture focused on respect, kindness, and responsibility.
- Monitor and enhance academic performance and student progress.
- Collaborate with the Head of School and Senior Leadership Team to implement school-wide initiatives.
- Maintain regular communication with parents to address concerns and encourage engagement.
- Support admissions, events, and marketing activities for the primary department.
- Ensure adherence to all school policies and safeguarding procedures.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Education (Master’s or postgraduate qualification preferred).
- Minimum five years of teaching experience, with at least two years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in international education, with preference for British, IB, or similar curricula.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students and staff.
- Fluent in English (both spoken and written); additional languages are advantageous.
- Flexible, forward-thinking, and passionate about educational excellence.
