Job Description:

Urgent!!!Meritton British International School is hiring!!! Head of TA
Salary: 30,000+

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management
-Lead and manage the team of MBIS teaching assistants.
-Conduct regular team meetings to ensure clear communication and effective team functioning.
-Develop and implement TA training programs to ensure the staff is well prepared to support teachers and students.

Recruitment and Selection
-Collaborate with the HR department to recruit qualified teaching assistants.
-Lead the interview and selection process for new teaching assistants.
-Collaborate with the HR department to manage onboarding processes for new hires to ensure smooth integration into the school environment. Performance Management
-Conduct regular performance evaluations of teaching assistants.
-Provide constructive feedback and create professional development plans for teaching assistants.
-Address performance issues and implement improvement plans as needed.
Program Development
-Regularly monitor the progress of TAs in their professional development journeys.
-Develop a comprehensive professional development plan for TAs that aligns with the school's educational goals and standards.
-Collaborate with external training providers or educational experts to bring in fresh perspectives and specialized knowledge.
-Work with each TA to create individualized development plans that address their specific strengths and areas for improvement.
Coordination and Collaboration
-Work with teachers, coordinators, and department heads to determine the specific needs of each classroom and allocate TAs accordingly.
-Serve as a liaison between the teaching assistant team and school leadership to address concerns and suggestions.
-Ensure that TAs are informed of school policies, procedures, and any updates related to their roles.

Other duties
-Provide a cover to TA when necessarily
Qualifications & Specifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a TA with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Strong understanding of teaching assistant roles and responsibilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent English comprehension.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
Thai nationality.
