Job Description:

Theodore International School (TIS) in Chumphon, Thailand, is seeking dedicated Homeroom Teachers for multiple positions ranging from Kindergarten to Grade 12. The subjects to be taught include Science, Math, Language Arts (reading, writing, word study), Social Studies, Art, and Technology.

The salary ranges from 39,000 to 47,000 Thai Baht per month, with the base salary at 39,000 Baht. This package includes housing and food stipends. Teachers also benefit from low-cost on-campus housing at 3,000 Baht per month and free lunch on working days. Health insurance is provided for those who sign multi-year contracts. Additional income opportunities are available through tutoring TIS students at a rate of 500 Baht per hour, potentially adding 4,000 to 8,000 Baht per month. Summer school course tutoring is available in June at the same rate.

The school offers a generous holiday schedule, with 35 paid holidays between August and June, including longer breaks over Christmas/New Year and Thai Songkran in April.

The position begins on August 1, 2026, and ends on June 4, 2027. Teaching hours are capped at 20 per week, with additional duties not exceeding 5 hours weekly.

Applicants must possess a Bachelor's degree or higher and provide a passport, degree transcript, and background check. While native English speakers are preferred, non-native speakers with excellent English skills are encouraged to apply. Desired qualifications include previous teaching experience, a TEFL or similar diploma, and proficiency in educational technology, particularly Google Classroom or similar platforms.
