King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang International Demonstration School is seeking a dedicated and passionate International Teaching Assistant for our Elementary Education team in Bangkok, Thailand. This full-time role offers a salary of at least ฿30,000 per month. The successful candidate will support Early Elementary classrooms (K3–Grade 1) or collaborate with our specialist teachers in Visual Arts and Technology & Robotics.
In this role, you will be part of an innovative school community that fosters a thematic, inquiry-based learning environment emphasizing creativity, collaboration, and meaningful student engagement. Our program equally values academic and social-emotional development, preparing students to become confident and thoughtful learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Homeroom or Specialist Teachers in delivering engaging, student-centered lessons.
- Assist in planning and preparing cross-curricular, project-based learning experiences.
- Work closely with students to support their academic, social, and emotional development.
- Facilitate hands-on learning in Arts, Technology, and classroom projects.
- Contribute to a positive classroom environment that respects diverse cultures.
- Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and parents.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or a related field.
- REQUIRED: Prior experience working in an elementary school (applications without this experience will not be considered).
- Strong English proficiency (C1 level or equivalent).
- Understanding of:
- Inquiry-based and thematic instruction.
- Cross-curricular learning design.
- Outcomes-based assessment practices.
- Supporting social and emotional development (SEL).
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience in Thailand is highly valued.
- Experience in an international school setting is an advantage.
- Ability to embrace and support cultural diversity within a school community.
- Up-to-date with current educational technology trends.
- Energetic, adaptable, and a strong collaborative team member.
