School name: Prairie English Academy
Location: 5-minute walk from Unyang Station, Gimpo. It is about a 30~40-minute commute from Hongdae, Seoul.
Start Date:
1 candidate: January 1st 2024
Multiple candidates: March 1st 2024
Monthly Salary: 2.4-3.0 million KRW (negotiable based on experience and qualifications).
Vacation time: 15 paid vacation days
Level: Kindergarten and Elementary.
Total working hours: Monday to Friday (no weekends) 09:00 – 18:00 split between kindergarten and elementary.
Lunch break: There is a 60-minute lunch break from 12:00 – 13:00. Lunch is provided by the school, and you are not required to sit with the students (the time is your own).
Class length: 35~50 minutes.
Class size: a maximum of 12 students per class.
Contract duration: 12 months or negotiable.
Housing: Housing or cash allowance is provided. Housing is partially furnished. It's an officetel.
Contributions: 50% coverage of National Health Insurance & Pension. Severance pay granted upon completion of the contract.
Visa: E2 visa sponsored or F6 (with 4 year college degree). For an E2 Visa, the applicant must be from: the United States of America, New Zealand, South Africa, Australia, the United Kingdom, Canada, or the Republic of Ireland.
Hi! Prairie English Academy is looking for new full-time native English foreign teachers who can join our fantastic team. Our team consists of 8 foreign teachers and 10 Korean teachers. The school is a privately owned hagwon (not a franchise) that has been operating for 6 years now. The director and founder of the school lived in America for over 22 years before coming back to Korea, so she is fluent in English.
