SE-ED LEARNING CENTER, RAYONG THAILAND

Well-established English provider, with over 500 enrolled students and 10 years of experience. Expanding enrollment necessitates the need for a part-time English teacher. We seek a candidate that is passionate about providing young children, the opportunity to grow intellectually, socially and emotionally. Rayong is located on the beautiful and picturesque sea-side east coast of Thailand. It is approximately 180 kilometers and 2 ½ hours from Bangkok.

Objectives:
• Create a classroom environment that introduces English language skills in order to reinforce and develop vocabulary, speaking, listening, reading and writing skills
• Prepare and teach lessons that provide the above objectives
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods to achieve the above skills
• Communicate and cooperate with school staff and administration
• Provide parental feedback
• Develop games and enjoyable learning activities to enhance the above skills

Your teaching schedule and responsibilities include the following:
• Teach students ages 6-18, 18 hours per week class time
• Flexible 8 hours per week of on-site preparation time with the headteacher in the first two months (the hours will be reduced depending on performance)
• 1-10 students per class
• Wednesday-Friday, 3:30-7.30 pm., 2 hours class time, 2 hours preparation
• Saturday-Sunday, 9:30 am.-5.30 pm., 6 hours class time, 1 hour preparation, 1 hour lunch
• Evaluate and record student progress
• Follow the school curriculum framework and guidelines
• School staff will provide guidance to help plan, prepare and present lessons.

Qualifications:
• Native English speaker
• Minimum education Bachelor’s Degree
• Must have teaching experience
• Willing to relocate to Rayong City

Benefits:
• Your monthly salary will be 40,000 baht, based on the above provisions.
• You will be paid 500 baht per hour for any classroom hours beyond 18.
• Paid sick leave with proof of hospitalization (2 weeks maximum)
• The school will not be able to provide you with vacation leave outside a minimum of 15 unpaid Thai holidays throughout the year.
• Any week that you work less than 18 classroom hours, will be adjusted down, at 500 baht per hour.
• The school will provide an insurance policy.
• The school will provide you with a Thai work permit.
• The school will assist you in finding housing.
• Minimum 1-year contract(extendable upon mutual agreement)
• Saturday and Sunday availability are an essential requirement for this position.
