Job Description:

Online Educator for GED Mathematics
Eden Vision Inter Language School (ELS)
Location: Fully Remote (Online)
Job Type: Part-Time / Online
Target Start Date: June 2nd, 2026

Compensation & Future Benefits
• Probationary Salary: 17,000 THB per month during the initial 3-month probation period.
• Standard Salary: 20,000 THB per month upon successful completion of probation.
• Career Growth: Opportunities to transition into full-time, hybrid, or onsite teaching positions at our physical campus based on performance and school expansion.

Position Overview
Eden Vision Inter Language School (ELS) is expanding its digital curriculum. We are looking for an engaging online educator dedicated to making core mathematical concepts accessible to secondary-level students preparing for their GED exams.
The primary focus of this role is delivering high-quality mathematics instruction tailored for students who are still building their English confidence and are not accustomed to immersive English communication.

Schedule & Workload
• Operating Hours: 08:30 AM to 04:00 PM (Thailand Standard Time), Monday through Friday.
• Daily Commitment: 2 to 3 teaching periods per day.
• Weekly Total: Approximately 14 to 21 teaching periods per week, scheduled flexibly within the school's operating window.

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver interactive online instruction covering the core GED Mathematics syllabus.
• Design and adapt digital lessons, presentations, and math activities to suit an online environment.
• Assess, track, and record student academic progress through regular evaluations.
• Provide targeted, patient remedial support for students who need extra help mastering specific math competencies.

Candidate Requirements
• Language Proficiency: Exceptional clarity in spoken English. Open to both Native (NES) and Non-Native (NNES) speakers, provided your delivery is well-paced and easily intelligible for English language learners.
• Teaching Experience: Proven knowledge and practical experience teaching foundational and secondary-level GED Mathematics.
• Education: A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Education, Science, or a closely related field.
• Core Competencies: Emotional maturity, strong organizational skills, punctuality, and a student-centered teaching mindset.

Technical & Remote Work Requirements
Because this is a fully remote position, candidates must possess the following infrastructure to ensure classroom continuity:
• High Responsiveness: Must be easily reachable and highly responsive to school administrators via designated communication channels during school operating hours.
• Hardware: A reliable, high-speed internet connection (with a backup option), a high-definition webcam, and a professional, noise-canceling headset.
• Environment: A quiet, professional, well-lit, and distraction-free workspace.
• Software Literacy: Proficiency with online classroom platforms (Zoom/Google Meet), presentation software, and digital whiteboards.

Application Process
To apply for the June 2nd intake, please submit the following materials via email:
1. Your updated CV/Resume.
2. A brief self-introductory video (maximum 60 seconds) showcasing your spoken English, personality, and online teaching presence.
3. Copies of your academic degrees and transcripts.
4. Any relevant teaching certificates or English proficiency test scores (if applicable).

📌 Please review the requirements to teach English in Thailand before you start applying for teaching positions. If the job post specifies "NES" or "Native English Speaker", it typically means applicants are required to be from one of the following countries: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa. However, in some cases, this may indicate a preference rather than a strict requirement.

⏳ Due to the high number of applications the schools receive they may not be able to respond to every application. If you don't hear back from them within a week or so, it's best to move on to the next job.

⚠️ Watch out for agencies that charge fees or take a cut of your salary. Good agencies get paid by the schools - not by taking money from you. If you’re not sure how they make money, just ask. If they say they take a percentage, that’s a red flag - avoid them and let us know so we can ban them from the site. Unlike other job boards that allow these kinds of agencies to advertise at your expense, we don’t - we’ve already banned several to stop teachers from being underpaid or exploited.

⚠️ When applying for jobs, you should NEVER have to pay to apply. You should also NEVER have to pay to buy anything which they then pay you back for later. NEVER PAY FOR ANYTHING! Also always verify you're actually talking to the company in the job post and not an imposter. Scams in TEFL are rampant, be careful!
