Help students build real confidence in English — from anywhere in the world.
We’re looking for passionate, experienced English teachers to join our growing online teaching team.
Before applying, please read through the details below to make sure this role is a good fit for you.
All applications must be submitted through our official application form at the end of this page.
We’re looking forward to hearing from you!
ABOUT US
We’re an organically grown online language-learning company based in Singapore, offering English and Spanish classes to students around the world.
We believe language learning is not a one-size-fits-all experience. Our teachers build genuine relationships with their students and adapt their lessons according to each student's goals, personality, strengths, weaknesses, and current level.
We’re not interested in cookie-cutter lessons or simply following pre-made slides. We want teachers to bring their own experience, expertise, creativity, and teaching style into the classroom.
Our approach is focused on helping students make meaningful progress while enjoying the learning process.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We are currently looking for 2 types of teachers (or if you fit both, even better!)
1. Beginner & Young Learner Specialists
We’re looking for teachers who genuinely enjoy working with young students and beginners.
Our beginner students are often quite young and need teachers who are:
Energetic and positive
Patient and encouraging
Comfortable working with children
Experienced at teaching students with very limited English
Able to make lessons engaging without relying entirely on entertainment
Naturally good at building confidence and rapport with young learners
If you love seeing a beginner go from barely speaking English to confidently communicating, this could be a great fit.
2. Exam Preparation Specialists
We are also looking for teachers with strong experience preparing students for English-language exams and academic programmes.
Relevant experience includes:
Cambridge exams
TOEFL
IGCSE
IB programmes
Other recognised English-language examinations
Academic English and advanced English preparation
These students are generally older and more advanced, and we are particularly interested in teachers who can confidently assess a student's level, identify weaknesses, and create targeted lessons to help them achieve their goals.
NOTE: Higher rates may be negotiated for teachers with strong exam-preparation expertise.
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
Essential
Native English speaker from the UK, US, or Canada
Minimum 2 years of in-person teaching experience in English, EFL, ESL, or another relevant subject, in a school or classroom environment teaching children or teenagers
Genuine passion for teaching and helping students progress and experience adapting lessons to individual student needs
Reliable and professional
Stable internet connection with at least 10 Mbps upload and download
Available for a minimum of 6 teaching hours per week
Available on at least one weekend day
Comfortable teaching online via Zoom
Preferred
TESOL / TEFL certification
Experience preparing students for Cambridge, TOEFL, IGCSE, IB, or similar exams
Experience teaching 1-to-1 or group classes online

Availability outside these hours is still welcome, but it may take longer to match you with regular students.
We value consistency
We’re looking for teachers who want to build long-term relationships with their students, rather than simply teach occasional classes.
Reliability, consistency, preparation, and student feedback are taken into account when reviewing hourly rates and allocating regular students.

📌 Please review the requirements to teach English in Online before you start applying for teaching positions. If the job post specifies "NES" or "Native English Speaker", it typically means applicants are required to be from one of the following countries: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa. However, in some cases, this may indicate a preference rather than a strict requirement.

⏳ Due to the high number of applications the schools receive they may not be able to respond to every application. If you don't hear back from them within a week or so, it's best to move on to the next job.

⚠️ When applying for jobs, you should NEVER have to pay to apply. You should also NEVER have to pay to buy anything which they then pay you back for later. NEVER PAY FOR ANYTHING! Also always verify you're actually talking to the company in the job post and not an imposter. Scams in TEFL are rampant, be careful!
