About Arno
Arno is the leading preparation platform for the Duolingo English Test (DET), serving over 250,000 students worldwide. We provide AI-powered practice questions, full-length mock tests, instant scoring, and personalized feedback. We're a fast-moving startup building the future of English test preparation — and in 2026, we're expanding beyond the DET to cover additional English proficiency exams.
The Role
We're looking for an English teacher who can create engaging, educational video and social media content. Your content will be published across YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram, helping hundreds of thousands of students improve their English skills and test scores.
Check out our content: YouTube · Instagram · TikTok
This role is critical to Arno's growth, and you will report to and work closely with Arno's co-founder and CEO, Otto. As we expand into new tests this year, you'll play a central role in building our content presence across those new areas, shaping how students discover and learn with Arno.
This is a fully remote position. You can be based anywhere in the world. There's no requirement to be in the US or any specific country.
What You'll Do
To start, you'll focus on content creation:
Create and publish at least 1 YouTube video per week covering English grammar, vocabulary, DET strategies, and test preparation tips
Create and publish at least 2 social media posts per week (TikTok, Instagram Reels, etc.) with short-form educational content
Engage with viewers through comments and community posts
As the role evolves, you'll expand into:
Planning a content calendar aligned with Arno's brand and student needs
Writing educational articles on English grammar, vocabulary, and English proficiency test preparation
Creating practice exercises and learning materials for the Arno platform
Who You Are
Required:
Native or fully fluent English speaker (C2 level) with excellent pronunciation
Experience teaching English (ESL/EFL, test preparation, or academic English)
Strong command of English grammar and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
A proven track record of creating video content (YouTube, TikTok, course videos, etc.)
Comfortable working in a startup environment — self-directed, adaptable, and willing to wear multiple hats
Reliable and able to meet weekly content deadlines
Nice to have:
Familiarity with the Duolingo English Test format and question types
Experience with IELTS, TOEFL, or other English proficiency exams
An existing audience or following in the English teaching space
Experience with video editing tools (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, etc.)
Knowledge of YouTube and social media growth strategies
Compensation & Benefits
$42,000–$50,000 annual salary
Performance-based bonuses tied to content views and channel growth
0.25% equity with a 4-year vesting schedule and 1-year cliff
Unlimited PTO
Fully remote — work from anywhere in the world

Please mention that you found the job on Teast for the school's reference.
📌 Please review the requirements to teach English in Online before you start applying for teaching positions. If the job post specifies "NES" or "Native English Speaker", it typically means applicants are required to be from one of the following countries: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa. However, in some cases, this may indicate a preference rather than a strict requirement.
⏳ Due to the high number of applications the schools receive they may not be able to respond to every application. If you don't hear back from them within a week or so, it's best to move on to the next job.
⚠️ When applying for jobs, you should NEVER have to pay to apply. You should also NEVER have to pay to buy anything which they then pay you back for later. NEVER PAY FOR ANYTHING! Also always verify you're actually talking to the company in the job post and not an imposter. Scams in TEFL are rampant, be careful!
