Job Description:

Satit Bilingual School of Rangsit University (SBS), located in Pathum Thani, Bangkok, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary English and Drama Teacher to join our international team. This full-time position is set to start on May 5, 2026, and offers a competitive salary of at least 60,000 THB per month, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

We are looking for a native English speaker who is dynamic and committed to teaching English and Drama to Lower Secondary students (Years 7–10). A strong background in English language development and drama education is essential, though the candidate does not need to be an exam-level specialist. The role is ideal for a creative educator who enjoys working with younger secondary students and contributing to a vibrant school culture through both academic and co-curricular programs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Teach English focusing on language development, reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
- Teach Drama, including performance skills, improvisation, and script analysis.
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Cambridge International Curriculum framework.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching resources, and assessments while maintaining accurate records.
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learner needs, including EAL students.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Establish clear classroom expectations and support students' development.
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians about student progress and wellbeing.
- Support or lead drama-related extracurricular activities.
- Attend faculty meetings, professional development sessions, and school events.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the Principal.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Drama, Performing Arts, or a related field.
- Recognized professional teaching qualification or certification.
- A drama-related qualification or strong practical drama background is highly desirable.
- A Master’s degree is an advantage.

Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of post-qualification teaching experience.
- Experience teaching English and/or Drama to primary or lower secondary students.
- Familiarity with Cambridge International Education or other international curricula is an advantage.
- Experience working with EAL learners in an international school environment.
