Role Overview:
The Intensive English Global Program (IEGP) aims to develop students into confident global citizens through a comprehensive English-language curriculum in an international learning environment. This program includes:
- Five hours of English instruction per week
- Small classes with a maximum of 16 students
- Emphasis on Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing skills
- Project-Based Learning (PBL) for active student engagement
- Interaction with foreign teachers
- Cambridge English curriculum and textbooks
- International Mathematics and Science courses with resources from Star Publishing Singapore
- CEFR-aligned English assessments targeting B2 proficiency
- Preparation for Cambridge English Qualifications (KET, PET, and FCE)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging English language instruction
- Foster proficiency in Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing
- Implement Project-Based Learning (PBL) activities
- Assess student progress through various methods
- Support student development and positive learning behaviors
- Use educational technology to enhance learning
- Maintain professional ethics in line with Khurusapha standards
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the school community
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in English, TESOL, Applied Linguistics, Education, or related fields
- Eligibility for Khurusapha professional licensing or temporary teaching permit
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least one year of recent secondary-level English teaching experience
- Experience in ESL/EFL and CEFR-aligned instruction
- Familiarity with Cambridge English exams
- Cultural awareness and ability to work within Thai norms
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Technologically proficient, especially with Microsoft and Google applications
- Preference for Native English Speakers from specific countries, though all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply
Additional Preferences:
- Experience with lower secondary students and PBL
- Involvement in English camps and competitions is an advantage
