Job Description:

Norwich International School Bangkok, located along Rama 2 in Samut Sakhon, is looking for a dedicated and qualified Secondary English Teacher to join our community immediately. This is a full-time position offering a salary of at least ฿90,000 per month.

The ideal candidate will be a native-level English speaker with a recognized teaching qualification and proven experience in teaching English at the secondary level. Familiarity with the UK curriculum, particularly IGCSE, A Level, and/or the IB Diploma Programme, is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging and well-structured English lessons.
- Teach students across the secondary age range, tailored to your experience and qualifications.
- Foster students' skills in reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking.
- Prepare students for external exams, including IGCSE, A Level, and/or IBDP assessments.
- Implement effective teaching and assessment strategies to enhance student progress.
- Maintain comprehensive records of planning, assessments, and student achievements.
- Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate students' diverse abilities and backgrounds.
- Contribute to the academic, pastoral, and co-curricular aspects of the school.
- Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Uphold the school's values, safeguarding policies, and commitment to student wellbeing.

Essential Requirements:
- Recognized teaching qualification.
- Relevant experience in teaching English at the secondary level.
- Native-level proficiency in English.
- Strong knowledge of English language and literature.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to high academic standards and inclusive education.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a professional teaching team.

Desirable Experience:
- Experience teaching IGCSE, A Level, or IB Diploma Programme English.
- Familiarity with UK examination boards and requirements.
- Experience in an international school setting.
- Experience supporting students with English as an additional language.
