Panyarat High School in Bangkok seeks a highly motivated Secondary School Mathematics Teacher for its English Program. Our school emphasizes Science and Mathematics and focuses on 21st-century learning and innovation skills essential for global success. Panyarat is proud to be the only Thai School recognized as a Google Reference School, with students using Google Chromebooks and classrooms equipped with interactive digital displays.
We are looking for enthusiastic educators who can employ innovative teaching methods using available technology, with a maximum of 26 students per class and no more than 18 contact hours per week. Our school offers a supportive and cohesive environment for foreign staff and values team players who share our educational philosophy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach a maximum of 18 hours per week.
- Work hours are Monday to Friday, 7:50 am to 4:00 pm.
- Attend parent meetings and school events on weekends periodically.
Qualifications:
- Native English speaker from the USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant subject.
- Minimum of three years teaching experience in a high school, preferably in Thailand.
- Experience with or willingness to learn 21st-century teaching methodologies, including Google Apps for Education, Google Classroom’s LMS, interactive smartboards, and educational software.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary starts at ฿75,000 per month with an additional ฿15,000 housing allowance.
- 12-month contract with paid holidays in April and October.
- Health insurance provided.
- Work permits and visa extensions are provided.
