Job Description:
We are hiring new and experienced teachers for three schools in Taiwan’s Xindian District. You will work alongside teachers from the US, UK, Canada, New Zealand, and Taiwan as you plan and teach fun and engaging English classes to students aged 12 and younger. You will also grade homework and assessments, communicate progress to parents, and collaborate on special events and cultural learning opportunities for students. You are guaranteed a minimum of 20 teaching hours per week, with our teachers teaching 25-26 hours per week on average.

Our schools are located in Xindian District, south of central Taipei. Xindian has long been popular its blend of big-city comforts and natural beauty. Xindian’s urban center is full of department stores, restaurants, and movie theaters, largely anchored on the Taipei MRT Xindian Line, which goes right to central Taipei. Bitan, a scenic area along the Xindian River providing boating and cycling activities, serves as a gateway to mountain hiking trails further south. A short bus ride away is Wulai, home to the indigenous Atayal people and some of the area’s most famous hot springs.
We have full-time teaching positions with immediate availability, as well as flexible start times throughout 2024. To qualify, you must hold a bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution, pass a national-level background check, and hold a passport from a country where English is an official language.
