Job Description:

Regent's International School Bangkok is seeking a dedicated Social-Emotional Counsellor to join our team in Wang Thonglang, Bangkok. This full-time role offers a salary starting at ฿38,000 per month. As a counsellor, you will be instrumental in supporting the emotional and personal development of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide confidential short-term counselling for students facing emotional, behavioural, or mental health issues, helping them develop coping strategies and resilience.
- Offer crisis support and immediate interventions when necessary, maintaining professional boundaries and making referrals for longer-term support as needed.
- Deliver structured Learning for Life programmes across primary and secondary levels, lead workshops to promote mental health awareness, and support key school transition points.
- Be an advocate for student wellbeing, playing an integral role in the school's safeguarding system. Collaborate with the Designated Safeguarding Lead on child protection concerns.
- Work with teachers, pastoral leaders, and parents to support student wellbeing, providing consulting and strategies for classroom support.
- Develop and maintain a network for external professional referrals, liaising with agencies to support student assessments and ongoing care.
- Track and report on student wellbeing trends, contribute to the development of the school's counselling provisions, and engage in professional development.
