Job Description:

The Newton Sixth Form in Bangkok is seeking qualified Subject Specific Teachers for Secondary Education, specifically in General Science, Chemistry, and English. The school, established in 2019, is conveniently located in central Bangkok near the Siam BTS station. It offers education for students in grades 2-13, focusing on the IGCSE, A-Level, and BTEC curricula through Pearson.

Position Details:

1. General Science Teacher for Lower Secondary.
2. IGCSE and IAL Chemistry Teacher. Training for those with academic knowledge but lacking experience in IGCSE and/or IAL is available.
3. English Teacher for Primary Level within the Thai Program.

Qualifications:

- A bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field is required, with a preference for candidates holding teaching qualifications such as TEFL or CELTA.
- At least one year of teaching experience in the candidate's specialized subject with the relevant age group is preferred.
- Familiarity with the Pearson IGCSE and IAL programs is advantageous but not mandatory.
- The school welcomes applications from native English speakers and Thai candidates with native-level English proficiency, particularly those currently residing in Thailand. Unfortunately, applications from outside Thailand cannot be considered at this time.

Benefits:

- Working hours are Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 18:00.
- The starting salary is at least ฿50,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
- Private health insurance is provided after probation.
- The position includes a 12-month renewable contract and an annual bonus equivalent to one month's salary.
- All visa and work permit costs are covered by the school.
