Job Description:
Seeking: Full-Time Teacher for (mostly) grades 1 to 6 students. Welcome new teachers with BA (or higher) from English-speaking countries. Hours are roughly 12:30 – 8:00 pm Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Tuesdays, we start later around 3 pm. Approximately 35 on-campus hours with about 25 of those being teaching hours. We are hiring for 2023-2024 school year; as we are currently fully staffed, we are not hiring immediately. We have a complete, well-designed curriculum, but we still appreciate implementation of creative new ideas. We do, however, want teaching to be student-centered with lots of paired and small group speaking practice for kids. We can give you tips and suggestions on how to get ‘em speaking. We want our students to love learning and learn well. A good percentage of our students go on to study abroad upon reaching high school or university. Lakeside School is located near the brown line, just a 5-minute walk from Hu Zhou MRT Station in lovely, green Nei Hu District. We run summer camps during July and August, so available teachers could begin then – or possibly slightly earlier. We offer 78k to 95k per month.
