Phoenix Wittaya School is currently looking for a Lower Secondary English teacher. We are currently expanding our school and need teachers for the secondary level. We may also have other positions available. You must be a native English speaker (UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Ireland, New Zealand) with a real university degree, and at least 2+ years teaching experience in Thailand. Our strong preference goes to teachers who are properly qualified with either a degree in education, PGCE, or a postgraduate diploma in education. The candidate should also be passionate, energetic, creative and responsible with a caring attitude towards children. Phoenix Wittaya School is a well-established bilingual school with a Thai and English programme. It is located in Pattaya. Basic Job Description: - To facilitate teaching and learning - To teach English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills), grammar, mathematics, science and social studies. - Working hours: Monday to Friday - 07:40 - 16:00 What Phoenix Offers: - Up to 60,000 THB for qualified teachers (degree in education or degree plus a postgraduate certificate in education) less if unqualified, but not less than 50,000 THB - The school provides accident insurance free of charge, which covers up to 10,000 THB - Approximately 7 weeks paid vacation which is allocated at various times of the year upon passing probation - Free lunch at the school (Thai food) - Education of the teacher's children (up to 2 children) will be given free of charge at the school.
