Ruamrudee International School Early Years Campus is seeking a dedicated Early Years Instructional Aide for our location in Khlong Sam Wa, Bangkok. This is a full-time position.
The primary role of the Instructional Assistant is to support teachers in creating a safe, caring, and inclusive environment for children and their families. Responsibilities include ensuring student safety and well-being, assisting in classroom setup and maintenance, and supporting hygiene standards. The IA will also perform clerical duties, aid in planning and executing educational activities, and work with students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning. Additional duties include implementing special learning strategies, observing and evaluating student needs, and maintaining progress reports. The aide may also have responsibilities during summer school as assigned by the school administrator.
Candidates should possess good interpersonal skills, comfort in interacting with children and parents, punctuality, reliability, and a willingness to embrace new challenges. A passion for working with young children, previous experience with toddlers, and first aid training are advantageous. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field, with relevant teaching or educational support certifications preferred. Experience in a school setting is beneficial. Strong communication, patience, and adaptability in teaching methods are essential. Non-native speakers must provide English proficiency scores from TOEFL, TOEIC, or IELTS.
