Job Description:

Carroll Preparatory Primary & Preschool is seeking an enthusiastic, collaborative, and creative English Teacher to join our growing team of educators.

We are not a traditional school — our classrooms are open, our teachers work as a team, and our students learn through projects, exploration, and reflection. If you believe education should nurture curiosity, confidence, and compassion, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
Co-teach and collaborate daily with Thai and international colleagues under a shared team-teaching model.
Design and deliver engaging lessons through hands-on projects, inquiry-based learning, and play-based exploration.
Support children’s social-emotional learning (SEL), self-regulation, and sense of belonging.
Observe and document student progress, adapting instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
Communicate regularly with parents to celebrate progress and address challenges.
Participate in ongoing professional development, reflection, and feedback cycles.
Contribute to a caring, inclusive community that prioritizes well-being and lifelong learning.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Early Childhood, or a related field
(TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certification and experience with Ontario or international programs are preferred)
Minimum 2 years of classroom teaching experience with primary-aged students
Demonstrated ability to design and deliver engaging, student-centered lessons
Strong collaboration, adaptability, and communication skills
Passion for nurturing confidence, creativity, empathy, and emotional growth in children
Experience with project-based learning, inquiry-based learning, or the Reggio Emilia philosophy is highly valued
Commitment to reflective teaching and continuous professional growth
