The Faculty of Management Science at Silpakorn University in Bangkok is seeking a full-time English Language Teacher to join our team. This position involves teaching English to undergraduate students in business management disciplines such as Business Innovation Management and Marketing. The role requires preparing lessons, marking assignments, administering and grading tests, and developing supplementary materials. Additional responsibilities include attending staff meetings, assisting in examination administration, and reporting student performance.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in linguistics, teaching English, or a related field. TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, or similar certifications are preferred. Non-native English speakers must provide proof of proficiency with specific scores in IELTS, TOEFL iBT, or CEFR. Experience in a university setting and familiarity with Thai working culture are advantageous. Applicants should have a positive attitude, adaptability, and teamwork skills.
The position offers a one-year contract with a negotiable salary starting at ฿42,000 per month, based on teaching experience. A work permit will be provided upon receipt of a clean Non-B visa. Opportunities for extra teaching hours with additional pay are available.
