Central International School in Bangkok is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Mathematics Homeroom Teacher for Grades 1 to 6. This full-time position offers a salary range of ฿45,000 to ฿55,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience. We are looking for native English speakers from Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, USA, or the UK who are available for an immediate start. The contract is for one academic year and includes a three-month probation period.
Responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging math lessons aligned with the US Common Core standards, teaching mathematics across Grades 1 to 6, differentiating instruction, designing assessments, and using various teaching strategies and tools. The teacher will also communicate with parents, collaborate with colleagues, and participate in professional development and school events.
The position follows the US California Curriculum, with 24 teaching units per week, each class lasting 45 to 50 minutes. Working hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with class time from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM across two semesters per academic year.
