Kyungpook National University in Daegu is seeking a Full-Time Instructor for its Language Education Center. As a member of the team, you will teach English for conversational and academic purposes to adult learners, primarily university students and adult participants. Responsibilities include teaching approximately 140 hours per session, delivering courses aligned with KNU's curriculum, assessing students through various evaluation tools, participating in department meetings, and contributing to curriculum development. Daegu is a vibrant city known for its convenient transportation links and lower cost of living compared to Seoul, offering a unique mix of modern city life and natural surroundings. Kyungpook National University is one of Korea's leading national universities, providing a professional academic environment and access to campus facilities. The position requires teaching six sessions per year and offers a starting salary of 2,900,000 KRW per month, with overtime paid at 40,000 KRW per hour. Benefits include national medical insurance, national pension with 50% employer contributions, furnished on-campus housing, and a renewal bonus for contract extensions. A Master's degree in TESOL, Education, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred, although candidates with a Bachelor's degree and a TEFL/TESOL certificate will be considered.
