Job Description:

GCIS is currently seeking qualified Elementary Homeroom Teachers for its school located in Dongtan & Gwanggyo, South Korea. The positions are for the 2026-2027 academic year, following the American curriculum. We offer full-time employment starting in September 2026.

**Positions Available**

We have openings for dedicated Elementary teachers in both Gwanggyo and Dongtan.

**Key Requirements**

- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Masters preferred)

- Valid teaching certification/license

- Native English speaker from countries such as USA, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, or Ireland

- Teaching experience and relevant certifications preferred

- Must have an apostilled diploma and criminal background check

- Excellent communication skills and a passion for teaching

**Working Conditions**

- Work schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday

- Maximum 26 instructional hours per week

**Roles and Responsibilities**

- Develop engaging lesson plans aligned with GCIS standards

- Assess student progress and create detailed reports

- Participate in school events and maintain communication with parents

- Attend faculty meetings and professional development sessions

**Compensation and Benefits**

- Salary: 3.0 – 3.3 million KRW per month (negotiable based on experience)

- Full benefits including health insurance, pension, and employment insurance

- 20 days paid vacation plus Korean national holidays

- Severance pay, daily lunch, and accommodation options
