Milestone Institute

*M.I. has an excellent reputation as both a well-established academy and as an employer. We openly encourage potential employees to speak to our past and present employees to hear firsthand about the positive work environment and experience. Our highly acclaimed curriculum is developed year-round by an in- house R&D department. Therefore, our teachers can focus on teaching rather than spending time developing teaching material.

M.I. Gwanggyo is the newest branch of M.I. and is slated to open in November 2021. Gwanggyo “New Town” is a planned urban development just south of Seoul. Convenient and affordable housing is available within 5 minutes walking distance of the academy. Gwanggyo is also a major transportation hub. Gwanggyo Jungang Station (Shinbundang Subway Line) runs through the middle of town making Seoul and the rest of Korea accessible via the extensive subway, rail, and bus networks. Emart, Lotte Mart & Outlet, and the upscale Galleria Mall are all within walking distance, as well as numerous other retail shops and restaurants.

Please mention that you found the job on Teast for the school's reference.

You need to be from one of the following counties to teach English in South Korea: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa. If you are not from one of those countries, you can still teach English in most other countries. This requirement is specific to South Korea and school's can only issue visa's to teachers from those listed countries.

Due to the high number of applications the schools receive they may not be able to respond to every application. If you don't hear back from them within a week or so, it's best to move on to the next job.

When applying for jobs, you should NEVER have to pay to apply. You should also NEVER have to pay to buy anything which they then pay you back for later. NEVER PAY FOR ANYTHING! Also always verify you're actually talking to the company in the job post and not an imposter. Scams in TEFL are rampant, be careful!
