Come Work With Us, Not For Us – ESL Position at Ron English (Incheon) | January Start | ₩2.6M+ | Direct Hire

Geomdan New City, Incheon, South Korea

Hello! My name is Trevor Crowe, and I am the co-owner and head teacher at Ron English. We are currently looking to hire an experienced teacher for our second branch. We are seeking an individual with prior teaching experience in Korea who enjoys working with elementary-aged children.

As our second campus grows, we are looking to add one more teacher to our team of seven native English-speaking instructors. Our school’s philosophy is “Happy, Simple, English.” We strive to create a safe and comfortable academic environment that fosters holistic English development, ensuring students feel supported and at ease. Our goal is to promote a fun, low-stress atmosphere that builds a lasting interest in learning English.

Additionally, as Ron English continues to expand, there are meaningful opportunities for teachers who wish to take on greater professional responsibility and grow with our team.

We value teachers who enjoy both autonomy and collaboration—sharing ideas and best practices to help each other grow. Our curriculum is fully prepared and provided, so there’s no need to create new materials. Instead, teachers are encouraged to use their prep time to focus on lesson delivery, classroom engagement, and creating or adapting supplementary materials to support their students as needed.

We appreciate teachers who know how to create lively, student-centered classrooms that spark engagement while supporting academic growth. At Ron English, we believe that language is learned through social interaction, not silent observation. Our ideal classroom is not quiet—it’s active, collaborative, and sometimes noisy, as students practice English through meaningful use rather than passive listening.

Students attend classes five days a week, and class sizes are capped at eight students. Monday through Thursday are standard lessons, and Fridays are reserved for activity-based classes connected to weekly themes—planned by our team of teachers.

📌 You need to be from one of the following counties to teach English in South Korea: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa. If you are not from one of those countries, you can still teach English in most other countries. This requirement is specific to South Korea and school's can only issue visa's to teachers from those listed countries.

⏳ Due to the high number of applications the schools receive they may not be able to respond to every application. If you don't hear back from them within a week or so, it's best to move on to the next job.

⚠️ When applying for jobs, you should NEVER have to pay to apply. You should also NEVER have to pay to buy anything which they then pay you back for later. NEVER PAY FOR ANYTHING! Also always verify you're actually talking to the company in the job post and not an imposter. Scams in TEFL are rampant, be careful!
