Job Description:

The Demonstration School of Silpakorn University in Nakhon Pathom is seeking native English-speaking homeroom teachers for Grades 2, 5, and 6 within our English Program. This full-time position offers a salary of 50,000 THB per month and is set to commence on May 1, 2026. The contract is for one year with the possibility of extension based on performance evaluation. The role requires a maximum of 18 teaching hours per week.

Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree or higher, with preference given to those with an education-related degree, and possess basic knowledge of elementary student development and education. Candidates should be able to establish and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. Flexibility in work is essential, and 1-3 years of teaching experience is advantageous.

Key responsibilities include teaching English, Math, and STEAM subjects, organizing students during various school times, conducting evaluations on student development, participating in orientations, meetings, and training, and engaging in school activities.

The position offers benefits such as health insurance after one year of employment, social security, participation in school summer camps, and additional pay for after-school teaching. Candidates interested in applying should submit the following documents to satitsilapakorn.hr@gmail.com: a CV/resume, educational transcripts and degree certificates, passport and visa page copies, and a 3-5 minute teaching demo video.

Please note that successful candidates may need to leave and re-enter Thailand with a Non-Immigrant Type B visa if currently residing in Thailand, or apply for a visa before arrival if based abroad. While the school will provide documentation support for the visa, the applicant is responsible for visa costs. The school will cover the cost of a one-year work permit.

Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.

📌 Please review the requirements to teach English in Thailand before you start applying for teaching positions. If the job post specifies "NES" or "Native English Speaker", it typically means applicants are required to be from one of the following countries: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa. However, in some cases, this may indicate a preference rather than a strict requirement.

⏳ Due to the high number of applications the schools receive they may not be able to respond to every application. If you don't hear back from them within a week or so, it's best to move on to the next job.

⚠️ Watch out for agencies that charge fees or take a cut of your salary. Good agencies get paid by the schools - not by taking money from you. If you’re not sure how they make money, just ask. If they say they take a percentage, that’s a red flag - avoid them and let us know so we can ban them from the site. Unlike other job boards that allow these kinds of agencies to advertise at your expense, we don’t - we’ve already banned several to stop teachers from being underpaid or exploited.

⚠️ When applying for jobs, you should NEVER have to pay to apply. You should also NEVER have to pay to buy anything which they then pay you back for later. NEVER PAY FOR ANYTHING! Also always verify you're actually talking to the company in the job post and not an imposter. Scams in TEFL are rampant, be careful!
